Graduated in Law from Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes in 2013, she completed her internship at the Portuguese Bar Association with aggregation in May 2016.

Helena practiced law in individual practice between 2016 and 2018, the year in which he co-founded the firm PS&P – Palhota Simões e Pires.

In January 2024, this company was changed to OG&PS – Oliveira Gomes e Palhota Simões, of which she was also a founding partner.

Finally, in March 2025, she founded the current Helena Palhota Simões – Law Firm .
Before pursuing a career in Law, Helena worked in other professional areas, an experience that contributed to a more comprehensive and multidisciplinary vision of legal practice.

Helena has a solid complementary education, with several postgraduate degrees, courses and conferences in areas such as Urban Planning and Tourism Law, Municipal Law, Tax Law, Political Marketing, Administration and Public Policies, among others.

At 46 years old, she is a determined professional, whose career stands out for its dedication, competence and impact in the legal and social environment. She maintains a strong civic and community involvement, namely as a member of APAL – Associação de Promoção de Albufeira and through the voluntary legal support provided at CASA – Centro de Apoio aos Sem-Abrigo.

Lawyer, politician, mother, grandmother and wife, she balances all her dimensions, maintaining a firm commitment to ethics, justice and service to the community.
